Ceiling Lift Operation Guide

Button Guide:

This lift is controlled by four buttons on the hand control.
To operate any function, press and hold the button—release to stop movement.

• Top Button (↑) – Raises the individual up
• Bottom Button (↓) – Lowers the individual down
• Left Blue Button (←) – Moves the lift toward the universal changing station
• Right Yellow Button (→) – Moves the lift toward the toilet

1. Pull out Guard Rail
   • Roll the lift so the carry bar is directly over the individual.
2. Attach the Sling
   • Make sure the sling straps are securely attached to the carry bar hooks.
3. Raise the Lift
   • Press and hold the Top Button (↑) to lift
4. Move the Lift
   • Press and hold the Left Blue Button (←) to go toward the universal changing station.
   • Press and hold the Right Yellow Button (→) to go toward the toilet.
5. Lower the Lift
   • Press and hold the Bottom Button (↓) to gently lower the individual into the chair, bed, or toilet.
   • Ensure they are safely positioned before detaching the sling.

Emergency Stop

If the lift needs to stop immediately:
PULL THE RED CORD on the motor to activate the emergency stop.
This will cut power to the lift.

After using the emergency stop, please notify Disability Services or the Office of Access,
Compliance, and Community immediately.
